Cilantro Lime Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6-8 Bone In Chicken Thighs
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 6 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Cup White Wine
  • Lime Juice (2 Limes)
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 Degrees F.
  2. Grab a small bowl and mix together the spices.
  3. Dry your chicken thighs with a paper towel and rub both sides with the spice mixture.
  4. Let the seasoned thighs sit for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet. Brown both sides of the chicken and remove from the pan.
  6. Lower the heat and add the white wine to deglaze the pan. Reduce the mixture until it starts to thicken and add the chicken broth.
  7. Bring to a small boil and add the garlic and the lime juice.
  8. Add the chicken back to the pan and put as much cilantro on top as you would like.
  9. Simmer the chicken in the glaze for 5-8 minutes.
  10. Cover the skillet and place it in your oven that has been preheated. Cook for 45 minutes of until the chicken is tender.
  11. Take it out of the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Add more lime juice or cilantro if desired.
  12. Enjoy!
