The Ultimate List Of The Best Keto Snacks

By Neil 4 Comments

Throughout the years, the way individuals look at dieting has changed dramatically. In the past, specific diets, which were high in fat, were demonized and ridiculed, as being unhealthy. In present times, opinions are beginning to change. The Ketogenic diet, which is high in fat, is considered to be very beneficial! Anyone that is interested in sticking with a keto diet will want to begin incorporating keto snacks into their daily intakes.

Since it is possible to enjoy foods that are high in fat, you will be able to indulge on some incredibly delicious keto snacks! Whether you want to grab something from the store’s shelf, or want to make something at home, there are plenty of options, which will be mentioned below.

  • Pork Rinds

When you hear your stomach beginning to growl, you don’t have to reach far for a delicious snack! Pork rinds are absolutely delicious and fit the ketogenic diet perfectly. Another benefit is the fact that the majority of you have pork rinds in your cabinets already! If you look through your grocery store’s chip aisle for a few minutes, you’ll be able to find pork rinds in several different flavors. Grab one that suits your tastes and you’ll always have a go-to treat to keep you going in between meals.

  • Bacon

Everyone on God’s green Earth loves bacon! If they do not, they’re simply not human! Well, you can rest assured that sticking with a keto diet doesn’t require giving up bacon! Whether you’re heading to work or sitting around your house, bacon is one of the best keto snacks! Toss a few strips in the microwave and your mouth will begin to salivate, before they’re even warmed up!

  • Hard Boiled Eggs

If you’re looking for an excellent treat that is entirely simple to make, you’ll want to reach for the eggs! Don’t worry, because you don’t have to drink the yolk down like Rocky. Instead, you can simply boil the eggs and consume them. For those that want a little extra flavor, it is possible to add mustard, or ranch dressing to this treat.

  • Nuts

Nuts can play a huge part to helping you stick with your keto diet. Not only are they deliciously tasty, but they are filled with non-saturated fats and plant sterols, which is effective in lowering the bad cholesterol levels. Almonds, and pecans, along with macadamia, hazel, and Brazil nuts are packed with fiber, so they are the perfect diet food, as well. The high fiber content will make your tummy fill fuller, so you can go longer without eating.

  • Beef Jerky

Again, beef jerky is a snack that everyone can enjoy! Heck, even Sasquatch enjoys a little beef jerky every once in a while. A bag of jerky will last you for a long period of time and will always be one of the best keto snacks ever! Grab a few slices and have at it! Just be sure to avoid the particular brands that oversaturate their product with sugar!

  • An Assortment of Vegetables

Some keto enthusiasts absolutely love vegetables, while others might not. If you stick to a ketogenic diet, you’ll be able to pick your poison and remain assured that vegetables are entirely safe! Whether you want broccoli, cauliflower or celery, you will be able to enjoy it without concern. Just make sure to grab some Ranch dressing for added flavor!

  • Variety of Cheeses

Whether you are looking for a noon time or evening snack, you should select a slice of cheese. Mozzarella, cheddar, blue, and Monterey Jack cheeses are filled with calcium, which will help you grow strong bones and teeth.  These high fat snacks are tremendously helpful in combating autism and cancer, so the next time you experience hunger pains, be sure to each some cheese.

Cheese also contains conjugated linoleic acid, which is highly effective in staving off cancer, so if you want to decrease your risks for getting cancer, be sure to eat more cheese.

  • Pepperoni

Pepperoni is a quick keto snack that is tasty and affordable! You don’t need the whole pizza to be able to enjoy the pepperoni. Heck, you can eat them like they’re potato chips. However, you’ll want to watch the calorie count and ensure that you don’t exceed your limit.

  • Candy Bars

If you’re craving a little bit of chocolate, don’t fret, because you have a few options. The Atkins Bar is always a reliable choice, but Quest Bars are even better! They’re packed full of good fats and are cooked with topnotch ingredients. Either option is more than suitable for your keto snacks collection.

  • Berry, Berry Good

There is nothing sweeter and healthier than berries. These delightful treats will make your salivary work overtime, but what about your brain? Blueberries are filled with anthocyanin, which is an antioxidant and capable of decreasing your risks of dementia and memory loos. Scientific studies have shown that raspberries are also effective in decreasing your risks of getting cancer, because they contain ellagic acid.

If you are currently dieting and need an appetite suppressant, you should pop a hand full of berries in your mouth. They are filled with fiber, so your tummy will fill fuller for a longer period of time, which is wonderful for someone that is following a strict diet.

Wrapping It Up

At the end of the day, there is an assortment of different snacks available to you! Just because you stick with a keto diet doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy all of your favorite foods and treats.

Hello Lara! At first glance they may seem like they are full of carbs but you may be forgetting to take the Dietary Fiber into account. Net Carbs = Total Carbs – Fiber. When you subtract the two, these bars are really not all that bad for a snack occasionally in moderation.
