5 Ways to Hide Cellulite While Wearing Shorts

By Neil 9 Comments

girl in shortsAll women want to be able to show off their perfectly toned, thin legs. Of course, this isn’t a perfect world and many women are unfortunately blessed with cellulite. These unsightly blemishes can make it very difficult to wear shorts! That old cottage cheese will be easily noticeable, when you wear shorts. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this complication? Rest assured that there are ways to wear shorts and learn how to hide your cellulite! Below, you will be able to discover some of the best ways to conceal cellulite, while wearing shorts.

Tanning Lotions

In the past few years, more and more women have started to shun the tanning beds. Instead, tanning lotions have grown tremendously in popularity. These products are considered to be much cheaper and safer! They can help you get beautiful bronzed legs, without exposing yourself to the harmful rays of the sun or the tanning bed. Of course, these products work exceptionally well for covering up cellulite, as well!

By applying tanning lotions properly, you will be able to help cover up the imperfections on your legs, while drawing your observer’s eyes to other parts of your limbs. Using these lotions is fairly easy and straightforward. Just make sure that you start by targeting the impacted areas first, before hitting the other areas on your legs! Be sure that the lotion is applied evenly for a more uniform look. With the right lotion and a little bit of effort, your cellulite will barely be noticeable.

Pantyhose Are Helpful

pantyhose shortsThere is absolutely no doubt that pantyhose can be very beneficial. They’re capable of covering up imperfections, while also making your legs look much thinner and smoother! They also provide your legs with a shiny appearance. Although pantyhose might not be entirely comfortable, they’re capable of helping you to hide that ugly cellulite! Remember that these accessories are available in an assortment of different colors.

When wearing shorts, you should stick with the black hose. This will help to provide you with a very modern chic look. Of course, you might want to consider wearing nude or skin tone pantyhose! These can help you produce a natural appearance.

Bronzing Your Legs

On the other hand, you might want to keep your guests focused on something other than your cellulite. This can be done very easily, by using bronzers. These creams are available in an assortment of different tones to ensure that you’re able to find one that matches your preferred skin tone perfectly. Once you’ve gotten the specific tone that you’re looking for, you’ll want to place a small layer on the very front of your legs. This particular arrangement can ensure that you’re able to attract light and eyes to the other areas of your legs, while making that cellulite hide away.

Stay Away From Denim

When attempting to wear shorts, you should make sure that you wear the right shorts. There is something specific about denim that makes the cellulite much more noticeable. This may have something to do with the tightness of the shorts on the legs. With this in mind, it is essential to wear any type of shorts other than denim! By sticking with a different material, you might be able to make the cellulite much less obvious. Be sure to check yourself out in the mirror, before you head out into public!

Coffee Grind Scrub

To create a coffee grind scrub, you will need several ingredients including ½ cup coffee grounds, 1 cup turbinado sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and ¼ cup olive oil. Just slowly mix the ingredients together with a spatula, until you achieve a moist consistency. Once you have completed your coffee grind scrub, you can simply rub it on your abdomen, thighs, back of arms, and love handles. To increase the effectiveness of the scrub, you can wrap the body part with plastic wrap, but avoid leaving it on longer than 15 minutes. Just hop in the shower to wash away any reminisce of the scrub that is left behind.

The caffeine is the active ingredient in the concoction and is capable of melting cellulite and exfoliating the skin. The coffee grind scrub is very effective in temporarily tightening up the skin and reducing the appearance of that unsightly cellulite.

Wrapping It Up

At the end of the day, cellulite is extremely annoying, but it doesn’t have to ruin your ability to wear shorts! Although these methods will eliminate the problem on a temporary basis, you should consider finding a more permanent solution such as diet and exercise.

Diet and exercise don’t do much to rid you of cellulite. A lot of it is genetic and hormonal.

Seriously I agree…. If my diet played a part it’s much to late to change now… I started getting pitted thighs around 18-20 yrs of age. I just plan on covering it up. As much as I hate it, I would still be self conscious in a bathing suit. I always was deep down. So I’ll just throw on my trench coat next time I’m pool or sea side. Lot more issues of life than that.
